About Prepper Guides
Prepper Guides exists to make emergency preparedness practical, calm, and achievable for ordinary households — no bunkers, no doom, no hype.
What we believe
Preparedness is just risk management for the things that actually disrupt normal life: power outages, severe weather, supply problems, and the occasional job loss or emergency. It's the same logic as a spare tire or a smoke detector — a small, sensible investment so a bad day doesn't become a disaster. We focus on high-probability events and the steps that give the most security for the least money and effort.
How we research and recommend
Every guide is built around real-world practice: how much to store, what actually lasts, and how to rotate supplies so nothing is wasted. When we recommend gear, we evaluate it on durability, value, shelf life, and how well it fits a "store it and forget it" lifestyle. We favor proven, widely available products over whatever is trending.
Two principles run through everything here: "store what you use and use what you store," and "two is one, and one is none" — always keep a backup for anything critical.

A note on safety
